Guestbook for Mildred L. Bowman Showing 1 - 5 of 5 entries.

We remember Mildred (and Max) when they operated the bakery in Addison while we were in high school. It was a great place to go and she/they were always nice and fun. We also remember Mildred and their son George who was in our daughter Sherry Ann'c class. The small town atmosphere was enhanced by such people and we remember her/them with fondness.

Mom has known Millie since she was a girl and thought a lot of her. Richard and I have known her since we were little kids. She was always a kind and fun person to be around. We both spent time at her house when we were in junior high, we had lots of fun. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her. If we keep her in our hearts she will stay alive. We will meet again in the future.

I am so sorry to hear of Mildred's passing. I have known Mildred and her family all my life and have so many great memories of the times I have been with her and all her family. My condolences to Juanita also.

The last time Max, Zoe Mildred and I were with Grandma Millie was at her 90th birthday party and although she was getting a little frail even then, she was in her glory because she was surrounded by all of her family and friends. Whether she was playing a game with the great grandkids or making my siblings and I kool-aid after playing ball with us, she left us a legacy of taking joy in each other and life and we are gratefull for that. I will miss you Grandma, I hope you are at peace. All my love, Richard
